General Electric (GE) chief executive Jeff Immelt on Monday urged empathy for the Occupy Wall Street protest movement saying it was understandable why people "are not feeling great" due to high unemployment, economic malaise and partisan strife. Also a poll published on Monday showed New Yorkers overwhelmingly support the protests.
