Former Goldman Sachs director Gupta charged with insider trading

Rajat Gupta, a former Goldman Sachs director and head of McKinsey, the management consultants, was charged in New York on Wednesday of providing insider trading tips to Raj Rajaratnam, the hedge fund billionaire who was jailed for 11 years earlier this month.
