Fed’s regional survey says US economy continued to grow despite supply-chain, severe weather and high food/ energy price challenges

The US economy continued to grow this spring despite the supply-chain problems related to the March Japanese earthquake, high food and energy prices and severe weather, according to the Federal Reserve's beige book survey of regional activity, which was issued on Wednesday.
