FÁS says Irish unemployment could exceed 8% by the end of 2009; Further downturn is likely in 2010

The state training agency FÁS today forecast that Irish unemployment could exceed 8% by the end of 2009 and it says that a further downturn is likely in 2010 if there is no significant improvement in the economy.
