Expenditure on international trips by Irish residents rose 17.1% in Q1 2008

The CSO reported today that expenditure on international trips by Irish residents amounted to €1,594.5m in Q1 2008, which was up 17.1% on Q1 2007. Spending on domestic travel was down slightly in the quarter.
