Eurozone unemployment rate unchanged at 9.9% in April; Netherlands and Austria lowest at 4.2% - - Ireland at 14.7%

The Eurozone (EA17) seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 9.9% in April 2011, unchanged compared with March. It was 10.2% in April 2010. The EU27 unemployment rate was 9.4% in April, compared with 9.5% in March. It was 9.7% in April 2010. The Netherlands and Austria were the lowest at 4.2% and Ireland was at 14.7%.
