Eurozone Service Activity: The final came in slightly above the flash estimate of 48.2, registering 48.5 (from 48.3 in July). At that level the Index signalled a marginal easing in the pace of decline from July’s five-year record, but nevertheless remained indicative of a third consecutive monthly fall in business activity.
