Eurozone job creation has hit a three-and-a-half year high as growth surge continues with the Markit Flash Eurozone Composite Output Index, based on around 85% of usual monthly replies, rising from 57.6 in March to 57.8 in April. The latest reading signalled the second-strongest monthly increase in output since June 2007, falling just short of February’s post-recession high but slightly above the first quarter average of 57.6.
