Eurozone inflation unchanged at 2.5% in August; Unemployment steady at 10% in July - - Austria lowest at 3.7%

Eurozone annual inflation is expected to be 2.5% in August 2011 according to a flash estimate issued today by Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union. It was 2.5% in July. Eurostat also reported that the Eurozone (EA17) seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 10.0% in July 2011, unchanged compared with June4. It was 10.2% in July 2010. The EU27 unemployment rate was 9.5% in July 2011, unchanged compared with June4. It was 9.7% in July 2010.
