Eurozone industrial production unexpectedly rose in April by 0.9%; Ireland fell 13.7% and Germany was down 0.7%

Eurozone industrial production unexpectedly rose in April, as rises in France and Italy countered weakness in Germany. Manufacturing in the Eurozone grew by 0.9% in April, compared with March and by 0.3% in the EU27. In March production fell by 0.5% and 0.4% respectively.
