Eurozone hourly labour costs rose by 3.6% in year to Q2 2011; Irish costs fell 3.5%

Hourly labour costs in the Eurozone1 (EA17) rose by 3.6% in the year up to the second quarter of 2011, compared with 2.7% for the previous quarter2. In the EU27, the annual rise was 3.4% up to the second quarter of 2011, compared with 2.3% for the previous quarter. Irish costs fell 3.5%.
