Monthly inflation was 0.3% in August 2009, according to Eurostat, the statistics office of the EU. EU27 annual inflation was 0.6% in August 2009, up from 0.2% in July. A year earlier the rate was 4.3%. Monthly inflation was 0.3% in August 2009.
