Eurozone annual inflation rose to 3.0% in September

Eurozone annual inflation rose to 3.0% in September 2011, up from 2.5% in August. A year earlier the rate was 1.9%. Monthly inflation was 0.8% in September 2011. EU annual inflation was 3.3% in September 2011, up from 2.9% in August. A year earlier the rate was 2.3%. Monthly inflation was 0.6% in September 2011. These figures come from Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union.
