Eurozone annual inflation was 3.2% in October 2008, down from 3.6% in September. A year earlier the rate was 2.6%. Monthly inflation was 0.0% in October 2008. The fall in inflation and the expectation that inflation will meet the European Central Bank's target of "below but close to" 2% in 2009, signals further ECB rate cuts.
