EU summit claims progress on economic governance; Sarkozy demands apology for criticism of expulsion of Roma gypsy migrants from France

EU President Herman Van Rompuy said on Thursday following an informal EU summit on the the progress of the taskforce on economic governance, that progress has been made. Meanwhile, an angry French President Nicolas Sarkozy demanded an apology for criticism of the expulsion of Roma gypsy migrants from France.
