EU Municipal Waste 2009: Germany landfilled 0% of municipal waste in 2009 while 62% of Irish municipal waste was landfilled. Also in the EU27, 513 kg of municipal waste was generated per person in 2009. The amount generated per person varied from 316 kg in the Czech Republic and Poland to 833 kg in Denmark.
