EU leaders delay big decisions until Wednesday; Sarkozy tells Cameron to ’shut up’

EU leaders on Sunday discussed three major issues to resolves the Eurozone debt crisis at a summit in Brussels: 1) a recapitalisation plan for EU banks; 2) providing more firepower for the Eurozone rescue fund and 3) forcing owners of Greek debt to agree a write-off of at least 50%. Leaders hope to produce a package of measures on Wednesday and in evidence of the pressure on the leaders,  Nicolas Sarkozy, French president, reacted to what he perceived as lecturing from David Cameron, the British prime minister, by telling him to 'shut up,' according to officials.
