Elan reports 30% rise in second quarter revenue; Net loss decreased by 49% to $71.5 million

Elan, the Irish drugs firm, today announced total revenue increased by 30% in the second quarter of 2008 to $245.6 million, compared to the same period in 2007. The net loss for the second quarter of 2008 decreased by 49% to $71.5 million from $141.1 million in the second quarter of 2007.
