Dr Peter Morici: Friday’s US jobs report; Unemployment headed for 9%

On Friday, the US Labor Department will report employment data for February. In January, the economy lost 598,000 jobs, and the consensus forecast is for another 615,000 jobs lost in January. My forecast is for a 640,000 loss.
