Decrease of 34.9% in new Irish private cars licensed in November

There were 1,398 new Irish private cars licensed in November 2011, compared with 2,146 in November 2010, a decrease of 34.9%. The number of new goods vehicles licensed in November 2011 was 624 compared with 428 in the corresponding month last year - an increase of 45.8% according to the CSO.
