Irish services PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) April data signalled an acceleration in the pace of decline of business activity as the headline Business Activity Index dropped to 32.2, from 35.7 in March. The latest decrease was second only to February’s series record in its severity as new business continued to fall. Lower activity was recorded across all four monitored sectors, with the steepest reduction amongst Business Services companies.
