Coughlan announces revised qualifying conditions for new Irish work permits; Minimum pay for eligibility is set at €30,000 per annum

The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment, Mary Coughlan, T.D., today announced the introduction of revised qualifying conditions for new work permits being sought by first-time entrants to the labour market. These changes are intended to come into effect from the 1st June 2009. Coughlan is currently in the United States. Minimum pay for eligibility is set at €30,000 per annum.
