China services PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) climbed to a 7-month peak of 54.3 in May; Japanese service sector firms expressed overall optimism for the first time since February - - prior to the May 11 devastating earthquake and tsunami and India's services growth fell to lowest level in 20 months.
