China reports economic growth slightly eased in the third quarter to 9.1% in the quarter from a year ago

China today reported that economic growth slightly eased in the third quarter, expanding at its slowest rate since the second quarter of 2009. GDP (gross domestic product) rose 9.1% in the quarter from a year ago, down from the second quarter's 9.5%.
