C&AG says Irish health insurers owe HSE and hospitals  €167m in maintenance charges;  €27.3 million of the accumulated capital cost of development of the dud Reach public services web portal was written off;  Government and State bodies paid €15 million was paid by the to legal, financial and property advisers for services in relation to “stabilising the banking sector” up to the end of June and €226,000 was paid for advice on State aid to Waterford Wedgwood. The Farm Waste Management Scheme (FWMS), which had no cash limit, initially had a budget estimate of €248 million is now expected to cost €1.1 billion.
