Bruton announces 250 new jobs at US-owned VMware in Cork; Over 400 jobs to be cut in Dublin

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, this morning attended the opening of a new office for US software firm, VMware in Ballincollig, just west of Cork City. Bruton, who could be termed the Minister for New Job Announcements, announced that VMware plans for 250 new jobs at its operations in Cork. Meanwhile, over 400 jobs are expected to be cut in Dublin following announcements on Wednesday.
