Bank of Ireland warns “trading conditions have become increasingly difficult”

Bank of Ireland today issued a trading statement for the six months ending 30 September 2008, ahead of its close period. BoI said trading conditions have become increasingly difficult, in particular since the release of the Interim Management Statement on 8 July 2008, with further slowing in the pace of economic growth in our main markets and worsening global financial dislocation.
