Average Irish house asking price now below €200,000; Price of new homes back to 2001 level

The asking price for an Irish house in the market is now below €196,000 according to property website Daft.ie today. Rival MyHome.ie says in a separate report today that the average asking price is €249,000 and the price of new homes is back to the 2001 level.
