Asia to grow by 7% in 2011, India by 8% says IMF; Staff paper says need to end long silence on global capital flows

Asia will grow by 7% in 2011 and India’s economy is projected to grow by 8¾% in real terms in 2010/11 (ending in March), moderating to about 8% the following year, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Meanwhile a staff paper says the Fund needs to end its long silence on the issue of global capital flows.
