Asia in 2011: Strong growth, with overheating pressures; Capital inflows lower than in previous cycles

Asia 2011: After reaching a rate of 8.3% in 2010, GDP growth in Asia is projected to average nearly 7% in both 2011 and 2012, according to the IMF. In a regional report published on Thursday, the Fund says while capital flows into the region have been significant, however compared with the size of local economies, they are still not as large as previous cycles.
