Annual Irish Manufacturing Prices up 3.2% in January; 4,179 days lost to industrial disputes in 2008

Irish monthly manufacturing prices increased by 0.4% in January 2009. This compares to a decrease of 0.6% recorded for January 2008. As a result, the annual percentage change showed an increase of 3.2% in January 2009, compared with an increase of 2.2% in December 2008, according to the CSO. The national statistics also reported today, that in 2008 there were 4,179 days lost to industrial disputes. This compares with 6,038 days lost in 2007.
