Almost 10% of European insurers fail stress test; Eurozone investor sentiment rose in July; Producer prices fell in May

Almost 10% of European insurers are reported to have failed a stress test of capital adequacy and would need to raise fresh capital in the event of another economic shock involving a tumble in share prices, falling interest rates, and a property market crash, European insurance regulator EIOPA said on Monday. Also today, it was reported that Eurozone investor sentiment rose in July while producer prices fell in May.
