AIB Chairman tells AGM that funding is stable and robust with a strong emphasis on stable customer deposits; Current credit conditions are having some impact on its margin

AIB Chairman Dermot Gleeson told the bank's AGM today that given the current unprecedented turmoil in the financial markets, from AIB’s perspective, funding is stable and robust with a strong emphasis on stable customer deposits.  These account for 48% of funding requirements.
