AIB Chairman says decisions made in Ireland and AIB compounded effects of world recession; Regrets decisions on property development lending

AIB Bank Chairman Dermot Gleeson told the AGM of the bank in Dublin today, that aside from the impacts of the world recession, decisions were made in Ireland and in AIB which have compounded the effects of the worst economic downturn in living memory. He said he regrets decisions on property development lending.
